p. 3 What's In a Name? Rapid Fire!
Stand in a circle, start with teacher turning to person to the right and say name. Names fly around the circle in sequence!
p. 4 Ball of Energy
Standing in a circle, game starts to the left. Teacher says, "What if I had an imaginary 'Ball of Energy," could you see it? If you can't see, just pretend. Since it's my ball of energy, I'm going to juggle with it, spin it on my finger, on my nose, stick it in my ear, " etc. After playing with it for a few seconds, say, "I'm going to make it very large and pass it to (person on left). Lucy, take my Ball of Energy from me exactly as I give it to you. Now it's your ball. Turn it into something else and pass it to Bob on your left, etc. Note: other than my initial description, the game is non-verbal so there's no need for the players to describe or name their imaginary object.
